Description
We are seeking community volunteers who desire a regular, weekly or semi-weekly 3-hour position as a social worker's assistant. This position will involve extensive training by our social worker in our clinic's eligibility and navigation processes. The volunteer will meet with patients to complete new patient paperwork, calculate their household income, and explain our clinic policies prior to their first medical visit. The volunteer will frequently work with an interpreter to complete these tasks. This position expects a minimum of one-year commitment to our volunteer team.
