Arlington Free Clinic is seeking Psychiatrists and Psychiatric NPs to support our mission of advancing health equity by providing comprehensive, whole-person healthcare to our neighbors who would otherwise lack access.

Volunteer providers work once or twice per month for three hours per shift and we require an eight-month or more commitment. Volunteers are asked to submit an application, go through an interview and background check process, and take part in orientation and onboarding.

AFC strives to support physical & emotional well-being and has been providing mental health services in a primary care setting since 2001. Aware that mental health care delivered in a primary care setting is highly effective, we are currently seeking volunteer mental health professionals who can promote mental health, resilience, and overall well-being for our low income, uninsured population. With the changes and stresses brought about by COVID-19 our patient needs have increased and we would like to bring on more volunteers to meet the increased need. We are lucky to have a strong group of counselors and social workers to provide counseling services but also need support with medication management.
